Features:
Â
Impact Energy:No shoe before has ever come close to the level of energy absorption in the FP DGS System. Expect an entirely new experience.
Â
Board Feel:Because the DGS outsole has been hollowed out and filled with soft FluidX Protection material in the place of traditional rubbers and foams, the FP shoe has superior board feel and flexibility. It’s like a kungfu shoe that absorbs all the energy.
Â
Joint Support:A deep heel cup and arch guide are built into the outsole which guides the impact and helps the ankle stay in a stable neutral position on big impacts and jumps, avoiding over pronation and helping to prevent serious injuries.
Â
Kingfoam Insole:In addition to our revolutionary DGS outsole, each FP shoe comes stock with our signature Kingfoam Insoles. yes, that’s right. You’ll never have to fear a foot impact injury again.
Â
Extended Durability:While other shoe cushioning materials start bad and end worse, our FluidX insert will continue to absorb energy from the first day of use to the last day. Simply put, it will out live the shoe.

The shoes have excellent board feel, grip, the forever cap is very durable, and absorb impact very well. The outsole also stays attached to the upper and hasn’t peeled off at all. When I added king foam orthotic insoles I didn’t feel any impact and was able to skate for hours until my leg muscles became too fatigued from jumping. Definitely worth the price!

These are good some quality shoes that are definitely worth the price. They are as durable as any skate shoe out there, and even more comfortable, especially if you have a wider foot. The board feel is really unique. It’s the prefect middle ground between a vulc sole and cup sole while still providing the protection of a high quality cup sole. There are a few changes that could make the shoe even better in the future. The stock insoles are a bit too thin to provide the protection I need. I have a pair of 5mm Kingfoam insoles, and those help out a lot, but anything thicker is a little too bulky. I tried using the high profile Kingfoam elite insoles, but my foot sat up too high and caused my ankle to sit above the shoe rather than being cradled by the shoe. As someone with multiple ankle injuries, that really messed with my head. If they could make a shoe in the future that would better accommodate the high profile insoles by adding about 5mm of height around the ankle, that would be fantastic. The only other change I would like to see is to have elastic tongue stabilizing straps to help ensure the tongue stays in place at all times. All in all, I would definitely buy these shoes again, and if the changes I recommended were implemented, that would make this the perfect skate shoe.

Thanks for the feedback. Please note there is already 10mm of energy absorbing material directly in the outsole which you can’t see. That alone absorbs more energy than any of our insoles in fact, some of us completely remove the insoles altogether and skate them with no insoles. There’s really no need to put hi profile elite insoles or any other insoles into the shoe.

These shoes rule! 36 years of skateboarding. Both hips totally replaced. First day of skating these today for a 2 hour session and they felt amazing. Got them for a Father’s Day gift. Have skated the insoles for the last two years and now the shoes. Will never skate another shoe again. I wanna skate till I’m dead. Fp for life! Width of shoe was perfect for me. So many skate shoes are so narrow and kill my feet. These were perfect. Shoes look way cooler in person than pictures.

Had these for almost a year now. I have a knee joint problem and these shoes are great! The effect of the DGS is not like wearing a super soft feathery shoe, it is actually quite hard to describe how it feels and I have put a lot of attention to it, to try to figure it out. I would say that the feeling in my feet and knees is very much as if I was lighter! It is not as immediately noticeable as super soft shoes are, but it really does work and it works better!! I only have one wish, that the DGS sole was a bit thicker. A thicker sole would be even more awesome for my knee problem but of course not so great for skating. A medical series anyone??
Thanks for making these awesome shoes! /Martin, Sweden
